    Kat Cromer

    Kat started riding when she was 6 years old at Lucky Acres Stable and has loved Dressage from the beginning. She got her first horse (Dutchess, our namesake) at the age of 12 and together they competed in local H/J shows and Dressage shows. Her professional resume includes years as a therapeutic riding instructor, grooming at a competition barn, and managing her own facility. Kat is passionate about providing a place where everyone who loves horses has a barn to call home. She heads up our Dressage program as well as serves as our Equine manager.

    Audrey Rasch

    Audrey has been riding since she was 7 years old and started taking Dressage lessons with Kat at the age of 11. When she was 14, she leased her first horse (Ria) who later became one of the first lesson horses at Dutch Acres. She got her first horse Moony a year later and has competed in Dressage shows ever since. Audrey is CHA certified as a Level 3 English Instructor and a Level 1 Western Instructor. She loves teaching all levels of riding as well as training horses in need of work.

    Sarah Phipps

    Sarah has been riding since she was 8 years old and has experience in both English and Western riding. She showed in the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association during college and grad school. With 5 years of previous experience as a therapeutic riding instructor Sarah heads our beginner program and loves to see the moments when a new skill “clicks” for a rider. She has a B.S. in Animal Science and a M.S. in Equine Reproduction from Missouri State University.

    Mikenna Mace

    Mikenna has been riding for as long as she can remember and has owned horses for most of her life. She has show experience in both H/J and Dressage and has aspirations of competing in 3-day eventing. Mikenna is also a part of our Instructor Internship program. Her dream is to head up a future eventing team program at Dutch Acres but for now, she enjoys all aspects of learning how to teach, especially in our young dressage program.
